A small neat leaf, with tip.
Large leaf is not as strong as the Small Leaf Assam, but holds a good rounded flavour with quality.
Brew with freshly drawn boiled water for 3-5 minutes.
Assam tea is named after the region of its production. It is mostly grown at (or near) sea level.
It is known for its body, briskness, malty flavour and strong, bright colour. This tea is often mixed with others in blends.
Advertised as a 'breakfast' tea in the UK it is often taken with milk (and sugar to taste).
