Brian Rothenberg is a seasoned founder and startup growth leader who has transitioned into an early-stage venture capitalist. With experience across the startup spectrum, from inception to IPO, he played a key role in Eventbrite's journey, contributing to its growth from startup to IPO with $300M in revenue and a nearly $3B market cap. Brian also founded SkillSlate, a local services marketplace, backed by First Round and Canaan Partners, which was later acquired by TaskRabbit. As an angel investor and growth advisor, he has guided numerous startups and is currently a partner at Defy, actively advising and investing in companies like PerkUp.
