One gift box for a team in two countries

Buildkite wanted to send its employees a gift box filled with swag they’d be excited to receive. The box needed to feel personal, with a mix of useful items and a few fun extras.

With employees based in the US and Australia, Buildkite also needed a way to send the same swag items to both teams without managing separate orders or shipping every box internationally.

THE SOLUTION

A Buildkite gift box, stocked in the US and Australia

PerkUp put together a custom gift box featuring a Bellroy Transit Backpack, branded apparel, stickers, a glass mug, and a rubber duck. Everything was packed together in Buildkite branding, giving employees a mix of swag they could use at work, take on the go, or keep on their desks.

PerkUp stocked the gift boxes in its US and Australia warehouses so employees could receive their boxes from the warehouse closest to them. This allowed Buildkite to offer the same swag to both teams while keeping fulfillment local and quicker.

THE RESULT

One gift box, delivered across both regions

Buildkite can now send its employees the same gift box across the US and Australia without coordinating separate orders or international shipments for each recipient. With inventory stored in both regions, PerkUp handles fulfillment as boxes are requested. Buildkite also has gift boxes available to send to new employees as the team grows.
